Southwire’s triplex Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 AlumaFlex® is primarily used for secondary distribution and underground service at 600 volts or less, either directly burial or in ducts, where increased flexibility is needed. May also be used in conduit as specified by the NEC.

Southwire’s triplex Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 AlumaFlex® 600 volt cable meets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications:
Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 AlumaFlex® conductors are compressed stranded TRIPLE E AA-8000 (8176-H24) series Aluminum Alloy insulated with cross-linked polyethylene. A triplex construction consists of two phase conductors and one neutral. The neutral conductor contains three yellow extruded stripes and sequential footage marks. Conductors are durably surface printed for identification.
