2025 Carbon Zero Goal

In 2016, Southwire set a baseline and established 2021 energy goals to improve energy intensity and GHG emissions intensity by 15%. As a result of positive business growth resulting in quantifiable increasing energy and GHG emissions impacts, in 2020, Southwire replaced the 2021 energy and GHG intensity goals with a 2025 Carbon Zero goal. The decision to retire our 2021 emissions and energy intensity goals and establish the 2025 Carbon Zero goal will allow Southwire to eliminate or offset all GHG emissions by 2025, based on our 2018 baseline.
