Best Wire Strippers I've Ever Owned!
If you are like me and prefer to buy tools made in the USA, look no further! I have owned several brands of wire strippers and Romex BoxJaw Wire Strippers by Southwire are by far the best. I've used these strippers the past few days rewiring a recently purchased rental property. This tool is definitely a time saver, stripping both 12/2 and 14/2 Romex jackets. Unlike other strippers, you can reach further in the electrical box. Great quality tool that I am proud to have in my tool belt

This is awesome!!
So at first I was really wondering if this was going to be useful or even handy. After using if for a week now I absolutely love it for residential work. It reaches really nice all the way to the back of the box. Even dose a good job when there is two wires in one hole. Only down side is it is a little clunky. Won’t stop me from using it. Best part is it is made in the USA!!!

It does the job
I had to strip the wire on an extension cord and this wire stripper came in handy. It stripped the wire with such ease. That’s what I expect from a wire stripper. I like the angled head too. As far as grip goes, it offers an easy, comfort grip. That’s also a plus. All in all, it does the job and feels pretty sturdy.?

Too big!
I’ve been using the romex box jaw stripper since I received it from the tool box sampling program. I like the idea and I see the need for this tool, but with having the 12-2 stripper on one side and the 14-2 stripper on the other side of the head, it is very awkward to use inside of a box like it is intended for, especially in single gang boxes. I like the idea of it, I just think it needs to be scaled down somewhat and maybe that means having to have separate tools for each size of wire.

Exceptional
Stripping is made easy with this great design and format. Romex is notoriously difficult to work with when it old and weathered and these strippers continued to deliver

Easier to use than a traditional wire stripper
I find this box jaw wire stripper to be a lot easier to use than a traditional wire stripper. I would much rather pull the tool straight back from the box end rather than to the side like a regular stripper. I also like the more rounded handle in comparison to the flat metal ones on a regular wire stripper, which is easier on your hand and better to grasp on to. Overall I find this to be a great tool and I can't find a thing I don't like about it.

Home Run
These Romex cutters knock it out the park they are so good. I do not normally deal with that much Romex so i strip it the hard way with a knife and that was never a good way. Now it takes 2 seconds to cut and strip and i can do it in the back of the smallest of boxes. Multi-tool with everything you need 12-14awg romex and single wire stippers, 6 and 8-32 cutter and the comfort grip no fatigue handles. Good quality very big thumbs up.

Decent but difficult to use
This tool is decent but honestly I feel like it's more of a gimmick tool. It's very difficult to use and doesnt feel very well built. The tool feels like it wants to fall apart in your hand. It doesnt strip wire very easily and can be difficult to operate. Honestly it's just not my favorite and seems like it takes longer to use than other tools.
