Great instrument.
Bought this several months ago and am fully satisfied with capabilities. The included case had a seam loose along the zipper, but Southwire replaced it immediately - great customer service. (Wish it had come with spring clips for the leads though.)

Was great until it blew up!
Design flaw in the battery case allows a 9 Volt battery to be put in backwards frying the unit.

How to increase tone volume when testing continuity - tone is barely audible.

Unfortunately, you can’t adjust the audible tone one this meter. Because the meter is IP67, the meter must be sealed tight. This unfortunately creates a muffled tone. We have made improvements to this on our new line of multimeters. Does the warranty cover calibration (I was told by a calibration tech that my particular meter was out of tolerance)
