Genesis Access Control Cables simplify and expedite wiring of access points by combining individual lock power, door contact, card reader, and request-to-exit cables into a single, easy-to-pull bundle.
Application & Features
Genesis® Plenum Rated Access Control Cable is suitable for installation as follows:
- In fabricated ducts as described in NEC 300.22(B).
- In other spaces used for environmental air as described in NEC 300.22(C).
- In risers.
- Within buildings in other than air-handling spaces and risers.

Construction
Genesis® Plenum Rated Access Control Cable features the following quality and convenience characteristics:
- Bare Copper conductors for excellent conductivity and low voltage drop.
- Low-Smoke PVC insulation.
- Available with card reader component shielded or all-component shielded configurations for extra protection in normal or noisy environments.
- Plenum PVC jacket.
- Durable rip cord for efficient jacket stripping and removal.
- Countdown® Length Markings for easy tracking of usage and remaining cable.
- Rated for 300 Volts
- Rated for -20 °C to 75 °C.
