Southwire® Romex® Brand SIMpull® NM-B-PCS DUO™ nonmetallic-sheathed cable may be used for both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations as specified in the National Electrical Code. NM-B-PCS cable is primarily used in residential wiring for SMART home applications such as 0-10V DC dimming controls for LED lighting. NM-B-PCS cable may be run in air voids of masonry block or tile walls where such walls are not wet or damp locations. Voltage rating for NM-B-PCS cable is 600 volts. All conductors are rated 600 volts.

Southwire® Romex® Brand SIMpull® NM-B-PCS DUO™ cable complies with the following:
Southwire® Romex® Brand SIMpull® NM-B-PCS DUO™ cable is manufactured as 2 or 3 insulated copper power conductors with a bare ground wire plus a control/signal component for installation as a Class 2 or Class 3 circuit, all underneath an outer PVC jacket that includes a blue stripe over the control/signal component. Control/signal component is a pair of solid copper 16 AWG purple and pink conductors underneath a 30 mil light blue PVC jacket. Copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper. Stranded conductors are compressed stranded. Southwire® Romex® Brand SIMpull® NM-B-PCS DUO™ cable is designed for easier pulling, resulting in easier installation. The cable jacket is color-coded for quick size identification; White - 14 AWG, Yellow - 12 AWG, Orange - 10 AWG, and Black - 8 AWG and 6 AWG.
