Does this work on older pushmatic circuit breakers?

Asked by: Fonz
This product has not thoroughly been tested on older pushmatic circuit breakers, unfortunately. The 41210S will send a small amount of mA through a non-energized circuit which can be traced through the end of the circuit.

The Southwire 41210S GFCI Test will trip a receptacle GFCI but NOT a GFCI that is integrated with a breaker? Is this right?

Asked by: BonanzaNC
Hello. Yes, all Southwire products that contain a GFCI test button ( 41151S Voltage Tester, 40022S GFCI Receptacle Tester, and 41210S Circuit Breaker Finder with GFCI Tester) will trip a GFCI circuit regardless of whether it is protected by a GFCI outlet/receptacle or a GFCI or GFCI/AFCI circuit breaker in the load center. All of the GFCI testers that I have listed above work the same and will trip the breaker.

Can this Amplifier Probe be used with the M300P in place of the T120AP? In some literature for the M300P it says can be used with any amplifier probe and other places it specifies the T120AP which isn't available locally.

Asked by: Mike M
The Circuit Breaker Finder cannot be used with the M300P.

When using my tester the receiver will not change from red to green. It was working correctly the last time used, several weeks ago. I have tried a new battery.
