Perfect addition to my tools
I use these cutters all thoughout my day. It fits my hand just right and it's well balanced, allowing me to make precise cuts. Its slim enough to fit easily in one of the small tool pockets in my tool backpack and the bright yellow makes it easy to see and retrieve in an Instant.

Great side cutters
I used these diagonal cutters for several days after I got them. I found them comfortable in my hands and the cutting action was easy which is important when using them everyday. They stood up well to the rough conditions on site. Overall a great addition to my tool pouch.

These WILL Cut!!!
After receiving these DCP8D Diagonal Cutters I put them thru the paces I would use any cutters for. They cut with ease thru Solid and Stranded wire, sizes from 14-10 gauge. I then went thru some screws and nails. #8x1" sheet metal screw, 2 drywall screws 1 1/4" long, one for metal studs, one for wood. 2 16d nails one bow nail the other from a pneumatic nail gun.
With the Nails & Screws I had to use both hands and they cut with just a bit of effort. The wire was with one hand.
The Cushioned Handles offered a Very Comfortable Grip. I was impressed with the way they felt in your hand. Unlike others that leave your hand tired and seem like the handles made an impression in them.
The only damage to the DCP8D was a little flaking of the paint in the Cutters. Under a Magnifying Glass the paint chipped off, but the Cutters remained Sharp!
Would I recommend these, Without a doubt!! Good Job Southwire!!!
These Should last for decades, or until I cut another Hot wire...

Decent Pair of Cutters
These pliers are very good for cutting and removing nails, screws and staples. They'll cut all types of wire with ease. I think these are the perfect size. They seemed stiff when I received them, however with usage they became to break in nicely.

Very smooth!
These cutters are amazing. Very smooth even when cutting through thicker guage wires. They stop thinner wires very quick and without nicking the conductor. Love these cutters.

Strong efficient quality product

These are very good! Very sharp the only thing I'd change is putting the end of the cutters at an angle for more leverage like an off set on a pipe

Fits my hand well
