Good tool but could be alittle better
I got this tool a couple weeks ago and got to play with it a good bit. Tool feels nice and rugged and I love the assorted sizes. The main problem I see is after a few cuts the tool seems to get dull and will try to bind up. The cut pieces of metal get caught in the cylinder and binds up the tool. Also the threaded bolts have bearing on them that are kinda crummy. They sound like grit is in them and dont seem to be fully shielded bearing. So on a jobsite with dirt and sand it will get in there and possibly tear up the bearing. It's a decent tool but for the price it could be better. Probably wouldnt be my first go to tool but for the occasional use its would be just fine.

Versatile Knock-out
This Knock-Out kit works exactly as described. The flex head ratchet works great if you have other pipes in the way or you are ratcheting from inside the panel. This is a good looking set (heavy duty) including the case which has a low profile and is much easier to carry then a hydraulic set. The star of this kit is the aluminum conduit marking tool. I have never seen one of these and that thing is great it gives you conduit center to center points off of unistrut and has a handy panel schedule on it. At first glance i thought the coating would wear off the marking tool then i found out it is laser etched.

Little package, lot of punch
Received this ratcheting knock out punch kit a few weeks back and have used it a handful of times since. Very simple-works as designed. The handle has a nice cushion and if felt good using it first thing one morning wearing gloves since it was cold and later that week mid day on a roof top bare handed since it was about 80 degrees. Draw studs have good threads allowing die and cup to go on and off fairly easily. The hearing in the ratchet itself feels very good, no binding even reversing directions. Very simple tools which makes it worth every penny.

Draw stud issue!
My draw stud threads are too soft,stretched and binded cutting 1"hole!I am a little embarrassed after telling everyone at work how nicely they cut...disappointed.

Poor quality
I bought the set last year and used it probably 30 time and the threads on the stud are messed up and I can't find a replacement one so I had to buy greenlee

Poor quality
Bought this from local eecol and at first it worked great. After doing few consecutive punches the drawstud and punch seized together. Got a hold of South wire and they replaced it for me. Which was fantastic, but take a guess what. It just happened again.

Works Great
I tried the punch set today and I couldn’t be happier. It works really well. I was cutting through aluminum today and it went through without any issue. The ratchet handle was really nice and smooth. It is so much nicers than having to use a pump cutter. Even the large 2” cutter went right through with very little force given. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to punch some wholes.

Powerful punches
I had some reservations out of the box because most of the larger punches had some nicks along the cut edge. They still tend to cut mostly clean, but it makes me question the QC process.
The tool is easy to set up and use, and the included guide makes marking out punch locations a breeze. Too early to tell yet, but it looks like the threads on the draw stud may be wearing fast.
