Great strippers
Great pair of Romex strippers. My new go to during remodeling projects. I would advise to get a pair. You can’t beat the grips and truly how durable they are when dropped from your pouch or pocket. Definitely a great gift for the apprentice.

Comfortable and Solid Tool
Southwire hits another home run with these strippers. High quality forged steel. It’s the perfect weight to be agile yet still feel solid in my hand. Has a good designed curved handle that feels comfortable. Pivot points are solid.

heavy duty strippers
this is a nice set of heavy-duty stripper others I have seen are not very sturdy. these are very sharp and cut and strip easily. they nonslip handles give you a nice easy grip..they strip away the outside sleave very good.

Give these a try, i think you will be impressed.
These are a great pair of wire strippers. They are essy to use, lightweight, and comfortable in the hand. They have replaced 2 tools in my pouch on residential trim outs. I have a wire stripper and linesmans in one tool.

Works great
Tried strippers on 12/2 and it worked great. Stripped sheathing off with no problem. It didn’t cut anything beneath the sheathing. I didn’t have any 14/2 but they should work the same. Perfect on 12/2.

New Addition To My Rough In Rig
I honestly wasn't sure I would love these strippers, but after 3 or so weeks of daily use, I was pleasantly surprised. My initial worry was the handles. They weren't dipped like most of my other handles on tools I use. The handles were way more comfortable than I expected. I could comfortably use these all day long while roughing in a new house. The lanyard loops are a nice touch, although I'm not sure I'll use that feature.
The large and substantial jaws on these strippers are very heavy duty. I can twist together multiple 12awg wires together with ease. The cutters have a unique shape and the Romex stripping blades are sharp and great for making even cuts in Romex. The Romex strippers are fantastic for wiring new homes. The other features on the jaws are pretty standard. The loop hole is nice, the bolt shears work.
The one thing I wish it had was a little more of a point on the tip. The wide tip, though great for twisting wire, is less than ideal for poking out the knockouts in fiber/plastic device boxes.
All in all, these pliers replaced the less substantial pair made by another popular brand for professional electricians in my rough in tool rig. I look forward to using these for years to come!
