Needs improvements quickly!
I'm currently on my second set, the pliers work great and I use them everyday for work (Solar), but after a few months of use I notice the same weaknesses:
-The bolt in the middle loosens up.
-The jaws want to split apart when attempting to twist wires together (because of first item).
-The rivet on the lock loosens up and the lock becomes less effective (because of second item).
-The cutting section starts to dull, and because the bolt in the center loosens up they struggle to cut stranded wires (i.e AWG#10).
The pliers jaws need to be thicker/stronger material, and the bolt that holds them needs to be the same as in regular linesman pliers.

Replaced a few tools!
I've been using these for a week now and i am impressed. I didn't know what to expect as this is my first tool from Southwire. Right out of the package i was surprised with how well built they were, very tough and rugged. I completely stopped using my previous pair of wire strippers and these also pretty much replaced my diagonal cutters as well. I am very happy with them so far only one thing i had an issue with is that the pipe reamer section isn't very useful for 1/2 " or 3/4 " pipe as its too wide to fit. Workers well with 1" and up.
i look forward to using more tools from Southwire.

quality !
I have to admit at first i was a skeptical, too many items on a single tool not good right? But i was wrong these are actually made hefty and heavy duty, they are comfortable and easy to use, i find my self carying around my back pocket all day since they are handy for a variety of task. It has a nice latch that stays in place until you release it to use. the cutter section is good and sharp, i was able to use large wire with comfort. little on my background 17 year electrician with public utility. well worth the buy if your looking for a multi use pliers, these wont disappoint.

lightened up my bag
industrial hvac service requires alot of tools, so this was nice to have to replace a couple. large cutting area is great, could be a little sharper, but did the trick. stripppers work great, i could use 18 gauge for controls, but this is fine. pliers help for removing valve caps and of course your trusty needlenose. tool seems well built, and easy to grip even with gloves on. i personally usually hate multi tools but im going to keep this one in the bag because it actually makes sense. no external spring to break either. pretty happy with these and coworkers are impressed too.

A good multi tool!
Is a good tool, versatile and feel good in your hands. The only thing is that the pin that hold the plier from open for some reason pop out a little bit and do not hold the plier in a close position any more. But is my best tool, and was a gift away from you, thanks!

Great Tool Replacement for
I really enjoyed this tool and found myself removing a few tools from my bag due to the fact that this tool can replace a couple of tools and give me some added room
The crimper is probably the most used and the strippers help
I would've like to see a 4th wire gauge and I would also like to have seen the needle nose point close completely but that's very minor it's a great tool

Joy to Use
These strippers/pliers are very well made. I really like the close tolerances that make this tool a joy to use. Stripping wire is clean and easy. Crimping connectors seems easy too. At first glance they're a little pricey, but the quality of construction is certainly worth the price. Highly recommend.

Could do better
Received these tools as part of a non-biased tool review program through Southwire tools! Big thanks to Southwire for the opportunity! I am currently a local tech school trade student. My biggest request to Southwire Tools is if they start to make their tools in USA. USA is something I really look at when buying a good pair of pliers, even though these pliers are made in China, they are quite good quality. The jaws and the overall quality of the tool itself is very good. The jaws and grip as part of these pliers are great and can grip a piece of 12/2 Romex with ease. The lock of the pliers holds well and doesn't lock in the middle of using the tool like other pliers I have used. The crimpers and reamers do their job and work well. The weakest points of this tool are the strippers and cutters. The cutters required a lot of pressure to cut wire which I expected better. The strippers could not strip a piece of 12 gauge THHN. The strippers are virtually useless on this tool. Overall, the value of this tool leaves a bit to be desired considering some of the functions are useless. Until Southwire Tools makes improvements to the tool, I would not recommend to buy.
