July 2025 – Carrollton, GA – Southwire received a Notice of Violation (NOV) from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division related to a generator hour meter malfunction, missed awareness of a required 5 year vaporizer tune up during permit renewal, and recordkeeping errors. All issues were corrected. There was no monetary penalty.

October 2025 – Carrollton, GA – Southwire received a Notice of Violation (NOV) from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division for missed monthly preventive maintenance inspections, instrument calibration gaps, incomplete downtime reporting, scrubber operating excursions and operating outside of approved flow rate and differential pressure for the scrubber.  All issues were corrected. There was no monetary penalty.
