Application & Features

Bare copper conductors are suitable for overhead transmission and distribution as well as grounding and general electrical constructions. Stranded conductors (Class A) are ideal for Overhead transmission and distribution lines. More flexible stranded designs (Class B and C) work well for uninsulated connections, jumpers, grounding, or insulated cables for general wiring and underground systems.

Features:

  • The conductor is manufactured from Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper, designated as Unified Numbering System (UNS) C11000, which applies to all copper products regardless of temper or stranding classification.
  • Soft-drawn copper exhibits an electrical conductivity of 100% at 20°C in accordance with the International Annealed Copper Standard (IACS).
  • Copper purity is at least 99.9%, with total impurities, including oxygen and other trace elements, limited to a maximum of 0.1%.
