Application

Southwire’s SIMpull ® RWU90 is designed for direct earth burial (with protection as required by the inspecting authority). For service entrance above or below ground.The minimum recommended installation temperature is minus 40°C (with suitable handling procedures). Maximum conductor temperature is 90°C. SIMpull ® RWU90 conductors feature SIM Technology jackets which reduces the coefficient of friction" allowing cables to be installed without external lubricants" resulting in reduced labour and materials costs.

Construction

Single copper conductor with extra thickness on the moisture resistant" low temperature" cross linked polyethylene insulation.

  • Rated at 1000 volts.
  • SIMpull ® conductors are SR rated for sunlight resistance in all standard colours.
  • Standard colours are available in black" white" red" blue and green.
