Heavy Duty Cord I Can Actually Trust!
I've trusted Southwire for years, and this 25 foot 12/3 outdoor extension cord feels just as solid as I expected. I've already used it with my generator and other higher draw equipment, and unlike some smaller cheap extension cords I've used, it hasn't caused any issues with the GFCI outlets tripping.
The heavy duty jacket feels durable, and the bright yellow color makes it easy to spot outside. I also really like the lighted end because you can instantly tell when the cord has power, especially in lower light areas. This is exactly the type of extension cord I want around for generators, tools, and outdoor equipment.

Perfect for pretty much any need!
This extension cord is perfect for me! I work in the trades and good extension cords are always great. Most of the ones I have are 50 or 100 feet so having this one at 25ft will be awesome when outlets are closer. It also has a thick jacket on it making it great work for working in the rain and outdoors shouldn’t have any safety issues. It also has lit ends to let you know that power is current running thru the wire.

Perfect for Outdoor Projects
The Southwire 25' Heavy Duty Extension Cord is perfect for my outdoor projects. It is really well made and I can trust that it is safe. It is definitely heavy duty. I can aleo trust that it will not overheat and that it is great for all projects- from yard work to those holiday inflatables. Feels like one of those cords that’s going to last forever.
I’m really happy I got this cord. It feels solid and well made, and it’s great for working outside. The 25 ft length is perfect for me since I don’t have a huge front or backyard. It gives me enough reach to use my power tools outside without having a bunch of extra cord lying around. Feels like something that’s going to last a long time.

Great all around heavy duty extension cord
Great Extension cord very Heavy Duty. I use this for my power hammers and vacuums. The heavy gauge wire make sure it does not overheat and melt during heavy use. I love the little light inside the cord letting me know it is energized.

The sweet spot for heavy duty extension cords
This hits the sweet spot for an all around extension cord. 12 gauge, 25ft, and outdoor rated. I personally don’t like having anything below 12 gauge for my tools or household equipment, and this cord has quickly become my go to.
25ft is perfect for getting from the outlet to most jobs without having unnecessary extra wire to get tangled up or tripped up on. 12 gauge helps minimize voltage drop, and being outdoor rated for working in wet damp conditions. The thick jacket has handled daily abuse working on my remodel.
A few other features I really like are the bright indicator lead light, which takes the guesswork out of whether the outlet is actually supplying power. The cord itself is very thick heavy duty but it lays straight, and the plug fits snug in the outlet or tool side even when the cord is pulled at an angle.
When not remodeling, I’ve used this daily to reach my dual battery tender for my motorcycles and have confidence that this cord is going to provide consistent reliable power.

Good product
This extension cord is really heavy duty and made to be used for sure . It’s lengthy and the voltage is perfect for anything in need . First South wire product for me and it hasn’t let me down

Quality wire extender
Best extension cord on the market. Not flimsy. Super durable. Wire and outlet seem very durable. Quality all around. Happy to have around the house. Can always find good use for it.
