No matter how I use it, I have followed the instructions, it will show the two breakers next to each other as being the right one. Only the top one is correct. I knew before using the device which breakers were correct. Why showing two next to each other?

Scanned circuit breakers, the breaker finder beeped faster, but never green lighted on the correct breaker. It didn't green light on any breaker, but the first time through it green lighted on two breakers, one of which was the correct one to turn off.

What is the range of the device, will it still detect a signal from a house with 3 floors? Also if my circuit breaker panel is setup horizontally (breakers going from left to right) rather than vertical (top to bottom) Can it still scan effectively?

Asked by: NeedMoreInfo
The Circuit Breaker Finder will still work in a house with 3 stories on an energized circuit. As long as the unit is ‘calibrated’ by scanning the breakers twice, yes. Information on this is found in the manual!

Does the 41210S identity a bad gfci switch

Asked by: Gary george
This unit isn’t designed to check for Outlet Wiring. It does have the capability to trip the GFCI which can let you know if the outlet is working correctly in that regard.
