great pliers
Love those pliers,they are amazing quality,they are sturdy and operate smoothly.They are just the right size and so easy to hold them in the hands while using it.These are some seriously heavy duty pliers. Great quality and should last a very long time. They're extremely durable.

Cracked handles
Can't say exactly how old, but less than 5 years. All of the plastic grip handle material cracked apart and fell off. Have these in my tool pouch with Channellock pliers that are over 20 years older and still have grips intact. Product did not hold up as expected.

super side cutters
These lineman's pliers are the best. The cutting blades are very sharp and very durable they can alternate between cutting copper and cutting screws, 6-32 and 8-32 are all I tested, without any noticeable nicks or gouges in the cutting edges.

Great Pliers
Got these pliers a few months ago and have used them on almost every job since. These pliers are heavy enough to make dealing with solid wire easy and they move freely enough that using them doesn't add any strain to the job.

Decent Lineman's Pliers
I have no complaints about this product. The cutting blades seem to be sharp, however I have not had these too long yet to be able to see if they stay sharp. The handles are comfortable enough for daily use.

Excelent Pliers
I got these and have used them on several times. They cut many different type wire and the flat nose make them great for pulling and pushing. the sides have reamer that work great on metal and plastic tubes.

I wish I had these sooner
I tried the Southwire side cutters recently and loved using them. They fit nicely into my hand and are comfortable to use, The reaming feature as well as the wire stripping are nice added features.

Fine pliers!
Having worked in the electrical field, I have a bit of experience with pliers like these. I own several sets by other manufacturers and use them all. One of them had decent cutters, but the plier jaw wouldn't come close to closing and had trouble holding a 14 ga wire. Not these! These cutters close completely and the jaws will still hold a #18 thermostat wire, even though that is usually a job for needle nose pliers. I was impressed how easily these 9" pliers will cut #10 UF cable. And while they are supposed to cut steel core wire, I'll let someone else try that. I've never treated my cutters that way! The grips are well formed and fit my hand well. I believe you could use them a long time without discomfort. There is a nice radius around the jaw that forms a perfect eye on the wire, just right for getting it under a screw. Another nice feature is the ability to ream a conduit with the nose of the pliers. A serrated portion of the nose makes this work easy. The fit and finish of this tool is indicative of a quality item. All in all, this is a fine set of pliers for the electrician's toolbox.

I like the thinker handle

Great balance, smoother operation
This tool had a smooth operation, I have tried many brands of lineman pliers and this had the easiest movement. It had a nice weight and balance for repeated one handed operation.

Great grip, amazing cutting power
It is an insane grippy rubberized material, i use these everyday and I’m so happy i have them now. Nonthing matches up to these, they twist, cut, crimp, with ease.

Side cutters
I got these with the product sampling. They just feel and look cheap. They did not cut well at all and just didn’t feel the best in my hand. And not American made.
