Pleasantly surprised!
I use Southwire handtools frequently, everyday add a matter of fact. I never really thought of Southwire in the drill bit sector. I wish I had earlier. I was a little skeptical to try them out but I was shocked. I tested the bit in a pressure treated 6x6, just for giggles. It absolutely plowed through it with a cordless drill! I can't wait until I need to bore through something! I've got just the tool for the job!

Heavy duty
I really liked the screw tip for self starting it really grabs the wood and gives a nice start, makes a nice clean hole and the 7/16 shank works great to lock into my 1/2 chuck of the drill. Worked well to go from the basement up to the next floor-perfect length

Worked well...
Drilled over 100 holes in both new lumber and old rough cut lumber and the cut is still holding and pulls right through the wood. The length of the bit also helped drill through multiple studs nailed together and made it easier to reach higher joists.

Very durable and good quality
Aggressive design ans worm pulls easily through materials. only issue I ran into was hitting nails in sandwiched joists stalled progress of boring. overall good performance and worked well for multiple holes roughing in a structure.

perfect for job
this drill bit was perfect for what i needed it for i needed it to drill a hole through the wall from the outside in so i could run security camera wires from outside in this worked perfectly for me very good quality

Strong and in charge!
This bit is SO strong and sturdy. It holds up to any match. Easy to install on your drill and even easier to take off. This bad boy is LARGE and in charge. This will get your job done quickly and effortlessly.

Great bit, Sharp and Strong!
I tested this bit with my 18v Milwaukee drill as I do not have a traditional hole hawg. The bit was sharp enough to make easy work of the 2x4 and 4x6 that I drilled though. Check out the pictures and videos.

Strong long lasting bit
I used this bit to drill about 75 holes and it worked perfectly each time. It held its texture after using it constantly for a week. The bit saved me both time and money and I'm very happy with the result.
