How do you get this item un stuck when its been bottom out stuck in metal and reverse no longer works

we have a maxis / southwire and the mp-xd gear box failed because of in-field abuse. - how do we go about getting this item repaired

I used the punch without extending the post all the way to the red line. Now the post is stuck—the wheel turns but it doesn’t move either direction. How do I fix?
