Southwire was proud to partner with the American Legion Post 143 for this year’s 4th of July People’s Parade in Carrollton, GA. Through Southwire’s Project GIFT, nearly 150 volunteers, including members of Southwire’s Officium employee resource group, which supports and focuses on military veterans, participated in the parade in support of the American Legion for their 100th anniversary.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest veteran’s service organization and is committed to mentoring youth and promoting wholesome programs within communities, as well as advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

This partnership highlights Southwire’s strong commitment to giving back to the community as well as a greater appreciation for those who have served our country. Southwire is thankful to everyone who participated in support of our veterans and in celebration of Independence Day! For more Southwire news, stay tuned to southwire.com/newsroom.
