CED Memphis, a branch of one of the nation’s largest electrical distribution networks, is hosting an open house on October 21st and 22nd to showcase an innovative, new electrical contractor resource center. This facility is designed to showcase the latest advances in product technology within the electrical industry and is open to electrical contracting companies, engineers, and architects.
According to Branch Manager, Jeff Tucker of CED Memphis, this training facility will significantly increase the value that CED Memphis is able to provide for electrical contractors. “In the past electrical distributors have been seen as ‘commodity peddlers’- quoting prices for copper wire and other electrical commodities. CED Memphis strives to show our customers how much value we can add by investing in a facility that educates and is able to offer complete solutions that provide real opportunities for jobsite safety and productivity”.In addition to a state-of-the-art training room, the facility includes a manufacturers’ area featuring companies such as Southwire, Leviton, OSRAM SYLVANIA, Thomas and Betts, and Eaton. This hands-on education center features the latest technology available and is a true example of CED’s philosophy of “Service. Integrity. Reliability”.For more information on CED Memphis, visit them on Facebook!
