Sharp and effective
I was installing a security camera and needed to drill through the walls to pass the cables through. This Auger Bit was perfect for this rask. The pointed tip helps position the bit perfectly and us a good guide. The bit is sharp and drilled right through with such ease. Although perfect holes weren't necessary, being that they really won't be visible, I was happy to see how well and perfect the holes were. No unevenness or visible shavings left behind. Great for thick wood and walls. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Pleasantly Surprised
I use Southwire handtools frequently, everyday add a matter of fact. I never really thought of Southwire in the drill bit sector. I wish I had earlier. I was a little skeptical to try them out but I was shocked. I tested the bit in a pressure treated 6x6, just for giggles. It absolutely plowed through it with a cordless drill! I can't wait until I need to bore through something! I've got just the tool for the job!

Great dimensions and durability
This bit was very helpful for getting through deep walls. I had a few dozen holes to make through a deep wall and this bit got the job done every time. This bit made perfectly clean holes without stalling or wasting any of my labor time.

Very durable and good quality
Aggressive design ans worm pulls easily through materials. only issue I ran into was hitting nails in sandwiched joists stalled progress of boring. overall good performance and worked well for multiple holes roughing in a structure.

Great bit, Sharp and Strong!
I tested this bit with my 18v Milwaukee drill as I do not have a traditional hole hawg. The bit was sharp enough to make easy work of the 2x4 and 4x6 that I drilled though. Check out the pictures.

Great drill bit, did what I needed it to do!
High quality bit that worked wonderfully, strong enough to use with an impact wrench battery powered 18V. Hardened cutting edges require less re-sharpening. Made short work of drilling holes.

Awesome tool
I use this tool to make long holes in thick pieces. This product works great. It has high quality and it is very durable. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny!!!
