Great for large projects
As an electrical superintendent it is important for me to have an extension cord that long enough for me to run thru large construction site especially on a busy jobs and half the time mew crew won’t have anything as long as this so it’s just great. Light indicator is great, helpful to make sure power on or off, definitely very useful when it comes to big projects. It’s it pretty heavy but I expect it that way, safety is also top notch. Weather proof so it’s great for ground up projects as well. I trust south wire and been using projects from this brand for long long time and never had an issue. Great quality and definitely great value as it will serve me on the job for many years to come.

Not made in the USA but TAIWAN
So I just bought one of these for my step-daughter to use and was shocked as it was not made in the USA but in Taiwan! I have a couple Southwire cords that say made in the USA that are the same 15A 100ft and 50ft. I just can not understand how it can be cheaper to make a product like this overseas and ship it back here with all the weight involved. Oh well, I will read the descriptions CAREFULLY from now on as Southwire is known for MADE IN THE U.S.A. not MADE IN TAIWAN. So sad.

More than capable of handling any job you're doing where the power source is up to 100ft away.
This was the perfect extension cord for the job! The heavier gauge paired well with the length of the cord to ensure no noticeable decrease in power while using a circular saw and reciprocating saw. The heavier gauge also feels more safe while using power tools. I've used cables in the past that became warm and this did not. The lighted end is great for easily locating your power source in a dim lit environment. This cord also rolled up and stored easily.

Durable, reliable, and perfect for outdoor use.
This extension cord is very well made and feels durable. The heavy-duty construction makes it perfect for outdoor use, and the bright yellow color makes it easy to see and avoid tripping over it. It provides a secure connection and reliable power for tools and equipment. I also like the lighted end, which lets you know when the cord is receiving power. Overall, it's a high-quality extension cord that performs exactly as expected.

Not made in USA
Sadly I bought this product thinking it was made in the USA like the other Southwire products I have bought in the past but realized it was made in Taiwan. The quality does not feel up to par of the products in the past. I hope this is not the new direction of Southwire.

Well made extension cord!
This cord was a great addition to the shop. It looks to be a super tough cord that will hold up in the weather and reach everything I need. It’s super well made and it flexible unlike some other cords that are super stiff. I ran it recently for my pressure washer and it handled the job well and didn’t get hot. Once rolled up, it’s the perfect weight to hang on the wall.

Great product
The south wire 12 three extension cord was just what I was after, I plugged it into a smoker 80 feet away so the 100 foot cord worked great. The smoker had no trouble with the power and the light on telling you you have power is a great accessory. Very portable and the yellow shows up great when it gets dark

So long
Great heavy duty extension cord. The 100 foot lenght is perfect for outdoor projects and the yellow color makes it easy to see. It feels durable and well made and the lighted end is really convinient because you can quickly tell when the power is on. Definetly a good choice for outdoor and construction use
