Where quality and fair pricing collide 🤜🤛
My workshop is a storage container in my backyard. I have to run an extension cord out to run the lights and fans. I had been using a 16ga cord and it constantly got warm to the touch. I was always a little worried about it overheating.
This new 12ga cord is EXACTLY what I needed for this scenario. It doesn’t heat up and the jacket is thick and durable. The cord itself doesn’t feel like I could pull it apart with my hands. The male and female plug ends feel really solid. I really really really like that the ends light up since I’m often out here working into the evening.
I’ve always been a fan of Southwire with their quality and pricing. This extension cord feels well made and works perfectly for me and my scenario.

Great one, good length very durable
Well this extension cord is truly amazing , always handy and needed for my backyard projects or around the house . I enjoy the most that it's 50 feet and it's so great for long distance usage . I have tried it near pool and it's amazing , the cord is so flexible , so soft and has a little light when you turn it on the outlet other extension part shows the light so it's easy to indicate when it's turned on. Great for projects and long distance usage . So good quality ,durable and comfortable. Doesn't need much space to store.

Great outdoor extension cord that will handle any project and will last!
Great quality and perfect for outdoor use
I’m very impressed with the Southwire Polar Solar 12/3 50 ft outdoor extension cord. It feels heavy-duty, well made, and durable enough for regular outdoor use. The 50-foot length is especially convenient when I need extra reach without having to connect multiple cords. The connectors feel tight when plugged it and dont have to worry about the connection coming unplugged moving the cord around. The light at the head of the connector to show that it has power to the cord is a plus as well. I know this cord will handle any type of capacity I may need it for.
The assembly of the cord is flexible and easy to work with, while the bright color makes it easy to see outdoors and helps prevent tripping. It has handled my outdoor power needs reliably, and the construction gives me confidence that it will hold up over time.
Overall, this is a solid, dependable extension cord and a great choice for anyone looking for a durable outdoor cord. Highly recommended.

Great extension cord!

Cold weather durable
The Southwire Polar Solar extension cord is so high end!!! It’s extra duty the cord itself is so smooth and silky!!! Great length of 50ft… I love the lighted end to show the power is on as well!!! Highly recommend this extension cord!!!

Reliable brand
It í thick and high quality cord. Seems like it will last a long time. The clear head is also nice to know when it actually has the power. One minor thing is that it gets dirty quite quick so you might want to pick a darker color.

Light up plug!
This is a great thick and heavy duty extension cord. Weatherproof and has a light up plug that shows you right away it is providing power. Great for use with my table saw and other tools I need powered up on the construction site.
