While the Carrollton Walk for Water is being postponed, our commitment to supporting access to clean water around the world remains as strong as ever. This meaningful walk supports Water Mission, a global nonprofit working to end the water crisis by providing sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene around the world.

Addressing a Global Crisis

According to Water Mission, 2 billion people lack access to clean, safe water around the world, and 3.6 billion people do not have safely managed sanitation. The consequences are severe: one person dies every 37 seconds from a water related illness, and children miss 443 million school days each year due to the global water crisis.

Water Mission responds to this urgent need by designing and implementing sustainable, community based water solutions. Since 2001, the organization has served more than 8 million people through over 3,200 projects in 60 countries, helping ensure that safe water continues to flow for years to come.

Participants are encouraged to gather a team and walk alongside friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers or classmates. Creating a team is a great way to build community, amplify impact and support the cause together.
