A Message To Our Customers

Dear Valued Customer,

Due to the extreme weather and corresponding power outages experienced throughout the southern and southwestern United States last week, Southwire has received force majeure notifications from a number of its non-metal raw material providers. For sake of clarity, we are not declaring force majeure at this time. We are in contact with these suppliers and are working to prioritize pending orders and work in process once production resumes at our suppliers’ facilities. We are taking steps to mitigate any potential impact to Southwire and our customers, including investigating alternative sources of supply and assessing our safety stock of inventory. As for metals, our vertical integration in copper and aluminum rod enhances our supply position. We will continue to monitor the situation, including how quickly our suppliers are able to resume operations and begin shipping materials.
