Advocacy is an integral part of DEI efforts, as its purpose is to show support for a particular cause or policy. Team members are continually empowered to make their own decisions on causes and policies, and as DEI-focused efforts at Southwire grow, one of its priorities is to provide team members with the tools to make the most educated decisions and promote and inclusive culture for all.

According to their site, CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. This commitment is driven by a realization that addressing diversity and inclusion is not a competitive issue, but a societal issue.

In 2020, Southwire’s CEO Rich Stinson was proud to represent our organization by signing the CEO Action Pledge to show our company’s commitment to ACT ON supporting a more inclusive workplace for team members, communities and society at large.
