Advocacy is an integral part of DEI efforts, as its purpose is to show support for a particular cause or policy. Employees are continually empowered to make their own decisions on causes and policies, and as DEI-focused efforts at Southwire grow, one of its priorities is to provide employees with the tools to make the most educated decisions and promote and inclusive culture for all.

A Pledge to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion



According to their site, CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. This commitment is driven by a realization that addressing diversity and inclusion is not a competitive issue, but a societal issue.

In 2020, Southwire’s CEO Rich Stinson was proud to represent our organization by signing the CEO Action Pledge to show our company’s commitment to ACT ON supporting a more inclusive workplace for employees, communities and society at large.
