The Polymer Dead-end Insulators are designed to support a single Covered Aerial MV Cable or tree wire as it terminates at a structure. The insulators are designed to interface with a wide variety of dead-end termination methods from various suppliers. The fiberglass core offers excellent strength with a light weight and offers the electrical withstand strength required for 15 kV through 35 kV systems. The polymer sheath and sheds increase the leakage/creepage distance of the insulator to prevent flashover in both wet and dry conditions.
