Will Berry, President SCR Division
Will Berry is Senior Vice President, and President of Southwire Continuous Rod (SCR) Division which engineers and sells continuous casting copper and aluminum rod mills around the world. He is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of this business.
Berry began his Southwire career in the Southwire Machinery Division (SMD) through a co-op program with the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1978. After earning his bachelor of mechanical engineering degree in 1982, he started full time at SMD. He has a wide range of business experience in various positions at Southwire including production and engineering manager at SMD, engineering and maintenance manager at NSA in Hawesville, Kentucky, the companys aluminum smelter, corporate engineering and energy manager, and plant manager of Forte the medium and high voltage underground cable plant in Heflin, Alabama.
Berry is a registered professional engineer and holds four US patents.
