Energy Division Freight Policy

Within the continental United States, orders totaling 5,000 pounds or more net weight or $2500 Spacer Cable accessories which are shipped from one Southwire location at one time to one customer location are subject to FOB purchaser’s destination. Orders totaling less than 5,000 pounds net weight or less than $2500 Spacer Cable accessories will be FOB shipping point. FOB orders to Alaska or Hawaii are subject to an additional transportation cost. Means, route and agency of transportation shall be designated by Southwire. Otherwise, customer will be invoiced for the costs exceeding the lowest applicable transportation costs. Rates for “Prepay and Charge” orders are based on the (1994) Yellow YFSY 500M tariff with a 40% discount with an absolute minimum charge of $72.00.
